CLS II bass section?

Which side is the bass section on the CLS II? Also should this section be on the outside or inside towards the other speaker?

The bass section is the wider of the two outboard sections. I prefer to have the bass section to the outside and that is what Martin Logan recommends in the installation instructions. I have seen a photo where someone had them the other way round, but it doesn't make sense to me.
 
Bass out is the proper orientation for CLSII on CLSI or Ia it does not matter as the bass sections are dead even
