what is your AMP amount?

From what I understand, when running MLs you want Amps and lots of them.

I'm looking at Musical Fidelity integrated which claims 40amps. Where as with the Classe Cap-2100, I cannot find this information on their spec sheet.

What is this sufficient magic number?

Sound not Specs!

Specs are not informative, in general, about sound quality. The Quad ESL63 is a notoriously difficult load yet the best I ever heard them sound was when driven by a PS Audio 2C+, a little 70 watt/channel amp. Better than with Audio Research, both tubes and SS, the big PS Audio 200C, and some conrad-johnson amps. The moral of the story, listen to the amps and decide that way.
