Has anyone tried the Vinnie Rossi L2i SE integrated amp with Martin Logans or other Electrostatic speakers?
It has a DHT preamp stage that uses 300Bs, and a 100wpc Class AB solid state amplifier. It also has a voltage switch so you can use other DHTs like 2a3s, and actually a solid state bypass mode to use the unit without tubes.
It has now been discontinued and replace with the uber expensive Brama line, but a number of these units have shown up used. When initially released this unit received exceptional reviews.
It doesn't quite double at 4 ohms (170wpc), but Vinnie Rossi has said that it's "unconditionally stable" in 2 ohms.
I'm wondering if this would pair well with 13as, or other electrostats given its specs.
