Thanks guys, coming from you this means a lot.

Yes, that is Patricia Barber’s “modern Cool” on vinyl on the stand. This is my autographed copy that I have on display. Wayne, Burke and I got an opportunity to meet her at the Green Mill Blues bar.

I will not be taking the vinyl plunge any time soon. Maybe in a few years.

Hi Cherian, looking good. Them Monoliths sure are sweet, aren't they?

Love the rack of CJ gear on the left :music:

I also figure both our pairs of Monoliths are being worked out (over and over) by the recently arrived SACD's of Dead Can Dance, right?

Man, those recordings are amazing in high-def audio on good gear. :D

They have a very wide soundstage as well. As I listen to mostly multi-channel, the envelopment of these recordings on straight up 2ch is pretty impressive. I even had to go check the surrounds weren’t on ;)

Updated my first post with the new upgrade. It is sounding so good now.

CJ rack

Cherian,
Love the system. I have never heard Monoliths, but bet they sound stunning.
What is the rack you are using for the CJ stuff at the top of your system page?
It looks to be modular, and also looks like it would be a good amp stand for my Evolution 2000.

Got a new Pre-amp today, the CJ Act 2. What a stunning peace of engineering. The detail level of my system has gone up another notch.

I bet there won't be much time spent sleeping tonight huh Cherian?

Awsome looking piece. I bet it sounds as sweet as it looks.

Good for you sir!

Yea baby!!

After getting into a couple of older CJ pieces; I can say without a doubt detail and macro dynamics are realized. I can only imagine what you are hearing with a "state of the art" piece like this.
Time for Iron Man?:rocker:

There is a TON of Illinois people here that's one of the things that convinced me to join.

I have a pair of REL Q201Es coming one for each channel. Placement has yet to be determined.

A pair of Rels to add to YOUR system?!?! Now that will be something to hear. Good luck with it, and we await your impressions.

You're still short a pair. The correct number of ML's to own is N+1.
