summit speaker bass

what’s the best way to check to see if the bass drivers are working correctly in my summits? i had a a/c power surge and need to know! i’ve had more failures than i can count, it gets expensive after awhile. its a very poor design when u have a surge the amps should shut down! thanks

Front driver, put your ear close when playing material with bass. Lower driver, put your hand on the cone to feel the vibrations or ear to the ground in close proximity of the speaker cabinet.
