its been discussed in this fourm on the angle of the summits speakers somewhere. i have had a pair for a long time and have never changed the orginal angle. is there a rule of thumb to start out with or just try different angles and listen. I listen to them in a recliner with it back to the first position. and what is a good way to make sure both speakers are angled the same? thanks
 
Read this thread. Gordon Gray offers some excellent advice. There is another thread that he tells how to do this with a plumb bob from the ceiling. I couldn't find that exact thread. I use a digital level that has a soft magnet on the back of it. It sticks just perfect to the front of my CLSIIA's and makes it very easy to arrive at vertical.
