I have a preamp/power amp configuration (DMC-20/DMS-20/DMA-90 setup with a CLS IIz.

The preamp is 100% Class A and the power amp is a heavily modified Class A; it has a floating bias. Basically Class A on demand.

It is an amazing experience to listen to music from a totally different angle; “right there”.

It’s amazing how well this setup sounds; super fast, detailed, and very musical. Stunning on how precise a speaker can be. I am totally in love with that setup.

I had the same set up at the end of the 90s. That's a very well description of the sound quality coming from the CLSs. What a great sound quality you have!
