Hello all,
I am, like most of you, a proud Martin Logan owner. My setup has a pair of Ascent I's five feet off the front wall. The back left of the wall opens up into a little alcove which leads into the master bedroom. Essentially, the front wall, behind the speakers, ends 3' from the side wall on the left.
My question is: does it make sense to build a movable wall section to fill up the missing section while listening to music? More to the point, how important is it to have walls symmetrical behind the speakers?
To muck things up further I have an older RPTV (Mit's Diamond 65") between the speakers. I know it's messing up the imaging but there's not much I can do.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!
David
