Securing ML4 Speakers on Stands - Experiences / Ideas ?

Greetings everyone,

I have 2 ML 4's and a ML 8, bought a couple metal stands to place the ML 4's as small monitors, but am afraid these might slide and fall of the plate, they sit on the plate and there is nothing securing them in place. Preliminary research indicates things such as BlueTac or Museum Putty - Kindly offer advice - or your experience.

BluTac is a miracle for many audio purposes. Not only will it hold the speakers in place, in most cases the sound is enhanced.
