Up for sale is my Schiit Freya + preamplifier
Asking $660 US or $900 CAD
- purchased this new in 2021
- authentic JJ 6SN7 tubes in very good shape
- 2 sets of balanced inputs
- 3 sets of single ended inputs
- 2 sets of single ended outputs
- 1 set of balanced outputs
- can operate as passive, active or with tubes (tube mode provides additional gain)
- stepped relay volume control
This has been a really nice pre-amp and has been in my system since I bought it, 99% of the time it was just used in solid state mode for streaming so the tubes have pretty low hours. The tubes are selectable on/off and they do provide some extra goodness to recordings if that's your thing.
I'm selling this because I found a piece of vintage gear I really wanted. Auditions in Mount Brydges are welcome and I can ship to Canada or the United States, maybe for free depending where you are. Rated as 8 because of one small mark in the front corner. If this doesn't sell I won't be unhappy, it's a killer piece of gear with unmatched functionality for the price.
