All that money and no talent or lessons?

A lot of small aircraft go down and kill their owners from the same problem of inexperience. At least with aircraft there is required FAA training and certification process.

I think that if one purchases a supercar, it would be common sense to get expert training along with it.

I mean if you were to purchase a 80 foot long all carbon fiber racing catanaran, you would at least know how to sail it fast, right?

One would think but now days money tops everything else.

As you have probably come to expect, there is whole site devoted to the general topic:

http://www.wreckedexotics.com/

This one has a whole series of photos and police reports of another guy that wrecked an Enzo back around February in Malibu, then claimed that someone else, "Dietrich", was driving it. It turns out that he had illegally imported this and a couple of other exotic cars from Europe, and a bank over there had been in the process of repossessing them. He has all kinds of legal difficulties now ...

They have a police animation of the wreck, showing how a pole sheared the car in half at the firewall. A foot either way would have likely killed the driver.
