Despite claims on the registration page that birthdate is optional, when I tried to register without selecting one, the form was rejected. Note: I am not 104 years old :) .

I originally posted this in the Main forum, decided that it was better off here, then looked for a way to delete or move the original post. The FAQ indicates that an author can edit or delete a post, but I didn't see any obvious way to delete one under the "Edit" page. How do you delete a post?

The FAQ is the vBulletin FAQ which is supplied with the vBulletin software.

I've changed the settings so you cannot delete posts in this forum. The Posting rules box at the bottom of the screen shows what you can and cannot do in the forum you're in. (see image below).

Also - when registering, entering a birth DATE is required as it clearly indicates. Entering a birth YEAR is optional.

If you're uncomfortable entering your real birth date, use something else. :)

thanks.

Tom.
