I am going to do a temporary rebuild for a year or two. I have sold off my Aeoni and Theateri and my B&K equipment. I have my depth, 2 side surround frescos, and my two back surround scriptis left.
I have ordered 2 dealer demo Vignettes and 1 Fresco for a center, and I have recently purchased a Butler 5150 amp.

My plan is to move the Scripti to the front for my mains and use the 2 Vignettes as back surrounds.

1. What 2 channel stereo amp should I get to power the back two vignettes?
Rotel, Parasound, Acurus, etc (I was thinking RB 1050, RB1070, Halo A23, A200)

2. Which region free Universal player Denon 5910 or Marantz 9600?

3. Which pre/pro Lexicon MC8 or Anthem D1?

Which of these 3 choices would be best for my current ML situation?

Choice 1 decided went with a Rotel 1050. I'm hoping it will be decent for the back two Vignettes.

Okay,

Forget the other choices... I need help deciding between the Lexicon MC8 and D1.

I really want the Lexicon, but am afraid once the HDMI issues for the new sound formats settle that there won't be an upgrade for the Lexicon. It's obvious with the D1 that obsolesence isn't going to happen.

Has anyone here had experience with both for ML?

Please help.
