Odyssey woofer

I just bought the last pair of Odysseys from a dealer. I just had a chance to take them out of the cartons today and noticed the woofers looked weird. They wern't completely smooth and they had bumps throughout. This was more prominent on the larger woofers. Is this supposed to be like this?
