...and yes, I have tried 'Search' for this!

Recently bought a pair of (store demo) Odysseys to round out my HT :) Sound is, of course, spectacular, but the cabinets have a few small dings. I suspect that someone here has tried this: Is there either a black touch-up paint from ML (checked their website, nada) or is there a close match? Thanks for your help. Cheers!

Thanks for the lead. Jim responded promptly; for other Odyssey owners, the text of his response follows. Cheers!

"...There were two different types of paint used during the lifetime of the
Odyssey. The newer version is a slightly glossier paint. I don't have a
touchup paint for the glossy version.

If it is the matte earlier version, it is an easy touch-up. We used a
product sold by ACE hardware stores called NOW!. The particular color of
the NOW paint is called Wrought Iron Flat Black.

The method of applying it is important. First, mask any of the
electrostatic panel, trim wood and any other part of the speaker that is
not the same finish. Next, apply the paint only as a fine mist from 10
inches or more. Don't apply a single thick coat, rather it should be
several very thin fine coats that are allowed to dry between coats. The
Mist application will permit close to the same texture to develop in the
final finish."
