Just about all the Pink Floyd songs that are a tribute to thier founding band member, Syd Barret and his struggle with insanity. There are many to include most songs on Dark Side of the Moon. The Syd they once new was obviuosly respected and missed by the band.

For some reason... James Blunt's Goodbye My Lover always hits me. And I havent experienced a heartbreak either! Maybe it's just the way I feel for the guy... poor heartbroken guy.

I'd even consider myself a tad bitter...not sentimental...and this song STILL gets me everytime. I'm trying to think of any that even come close for me, and can't.

One other I came up with is
Staid - Zoe Jane. It sounds a little lean on my logans, but with some really solid midbass, this song really gets me too. It's a rock ballad about the lead singer's daughter.

One of my favorite Ben Harper songs falls into this category. The song Not Fire Not Ice from the Live From Mars disc is incredible. It might be a little slow but my fiance and I are planning on dancing to that song at our wedding reception.
