Beautiful Tubed (Bottle Head) Amplifier...

I know I have probably said this before, "What a beautiful tubed amplifier". Does your amplifier sound as good as it looks? Also, are those GE tubes in your amp.? I thought GE no longer was in the business of manufacturing tubes? How did you manage to acquire those tubes? If they are GE tubes?

Tubes use to be refered to as bottles in the old days, so people into tube audio may be called a "bottle head". Kind of like being a Dead Head, if you're into the Grateful Dead. Then there is the company that sells many of the tube kits that members build: http://www.bottlehead.com Last because we are in Texas, the Lone Star state, you get Lone Star Bottleheads.

Thanks! I figured it was something like that. I have never heard a tube amp before, but it's interesting to me... I'd love to hear them pushing Logans.
