I just became the owner of a pair of new ML ESL X's, to match up with my venerable AR-303's. Been wanting to get a set of ML electrostats for a while. Started to go with the ESL 13A's, but since my listening area is more suited to a smaller set, I went with the ESL X's. Am basically using them as a center channel set, driven by a separate Receiver, and letting the AR's compliment the bass of the X's. With the ML Transducers for upper frequencies enhancing the AR mid range woofer & tweeter, I now have a heavenly sound from my system now for all type music. One other upgrade I recently did for my system was to add an external DAC. That too really made a difference. Have been a serious amateur Hi-Fi enthusiast for over 50 years.
