Since you already have the Parasound 3 channel amp, you could use that Emotiva receiver to power the rest of your home theater. Thats what I do. I use a Marantz though. I have had two of them now. My older one has a problem with it. Something is wrong with the left and right channel amps I think. They go out at times. Because of that problem, im not too hot on Marantz now. I wont buy another one. The Emotiva may be more reliable.

My newer Marantz receiver wont update firmware anymore. Something is wrong with it. Spending $3000 plus on these receivers and they arent very reliable. Neither one is very old.
