Policy is not new or unusual as far as I know. The guy on audiogon advertised new product but was not an authorized dealer. Many companies including ML enforce their policies regarding sales by unauthorized sellers. Audiogon did take an unusual step in banning his ads on the basis that the product might be counterfeit or lower quality.
