My CLS's were an even earlier version, where they mounted the big audio step up transformer on the outside of the box. The high voltage bias voltage multiplier circuit has more stages as well (more diodes and orange caps).

However, the BEST bluetooth cell phone earpiece I've ever owned was a Bose. It had the best noise cancelling mic while retaining the most studio-like voice quality. People thought I was talking directly into the phone. And, it had fantastic wind noise cancelling!
