Detailed Review:
I saw a review of this CD in CD Review magazine. They gave it a perfect 10/10 rating. No surprise. Whoever thought to pair these two geniuses in their respective fields should be given an award. McFerrin is a master of jazz vocalise and improvisation, while Ma is a master of straight classical work: Up meets Down, In meets Out, Over meets Under, Scribble meets Straight Line, Improvisation meets Structure, and the results are a beautiful Between. When they are serious, they sound phenomenal together. When they are having fun, they sound phenomenal together. The listener wins!

The vocal clarity of this cd when paird with Martin Logans is nothing short of breathtaking.

Going to have to get that CD.

Does anybody have other good recommended cello recordings? I know Yo-Yo Ma is the pop king... :D

Yes, these two are amazing individualy and together. While you may know Yo-Yo Ma as one of the greatest classical performers of our time, you may not know Bobby McFerrin for more than the tune "Don't Worry be Happy." Bobby is truely incredible. His parents were opera singers, he has a four octave vocal range and is a conductor.

The rendition of "AIR" (Bach's Air on the G string) is phenominal.
