I have always firmly believed that for there to be an audible difference, there should also be a measurable element to confirm a difference, whether that might be electrical, mechanical, or acoustical.

The posted testing in this case seems to show that the AQ cable goes against their stated mandate of: "Do No Harm" to the audio signal.
 
Why am I not the least bit surprised.

Worse (of course) - are digital cables. Sadly, you don't even need a $28,000 Audio Precision APx555 to test digital cables - all you need is a computer and a freeware checksum program! Yet people still believe they make their system sound different (always better, never worse of course - even if they're not compliant with the USB-IF standard).
