Ascent i Cabinet Replacement

A while ago I bought a pair of Ascent i from Tweeter, one of them arrived damaged and now, after almost 3 months, I am ready to change the cabinet.

Any advice on how to do this? Instructions, tips, diagrams are all welcome.

I am planning two posts on this: one detailing the repair, with lots of pics. The other detailing the nightmare of filing a claim for a damaged item both with Tweeter and Roadway so other Club members don't have to go through the same.

i think your best bet would be to email jim powers from ml directly as he will be the most experienced with that kind of job and provide you with all the details you will need.

If Tweeters was a decent enough dealer they would replace the damaged speakers and deal with the claim themselves. That is BS, that you should even have to worry about replacing these speakers, especially if there new.
