Looking at two pair both have bi-wire setup. Major changes between the two?
I know the I has auto- shutoff and better speaker taps, any other key things I should consider? Thanks Joe

Not all Aerius speakers have bi-wire setup - my early model does not.

The Aerius-i has extended highs...............and good thing in most systems.

The original Aerius has a higer crossover to the woofer. I think this gives it an ever so slightly meatier sound, less skeletal than earlier models and other brands of stats.

The auto shut-off is something a Aerius owner may of upgraded to as it was a long time offered option. It might not have the red light in front, I would ask to see an invoice if someone claims they made the upgrade. All it really means is they don't attract dust 24/7.

I would go with the Aerius-i, but if the speaker had recently both panels changed I would go for that one. Also look in the tweeks section, someone has a way of improving the sound of both models from the inside for cheap.
