Aerius i vs. Esl.

Good evening awesome people,
I have a question for you all. Found an Aerius I pair for roughly the same price I can get a brand new ESl pair from a friend working at Best Buy.

What questions should I ask of the aerius I owner before trying to make my decision?

I am running a 2 channel emotiva setup currently and have an svs sub so bass isn't an issue.

With the Aerius, I would want to know when the panels were replaced. If they are the originals ,then they are probably shot. Price should be adjusted for that.

If the owner isn't the original and doesn't know, then have them give you the serial number on the actual panels. The frame has one too, but find out what the panel has. There is a page posted on here somewhere that decodes the serial number and you can figure out exactly when the panels were made.
