Hi!
I just bought a pair of Aerius I with flat metal feet with 1/4 inch thread. Luckily the thread inserts are easy to change so now I have M6 threads and use Dayton Audio DSS2 spikes. I also tried to tilt the back-end up to have the speaker panel almost vertical to the listening position with Dayton Audio DSS4 but that didn't improve the sound to my opinion. I also tried with Superspikes which lift the speakers about 15 mm more but I preffer the DSS2's. The Dayton spikes come with thread inserts and are very reasonable priced :)
