A while ago I purchased a pair of CLS II that had Acoustat MK-121-2A interfaces. I got them at a good price but the one channels volume was much lower than the other. Using balance I'm able to make them sound even but I have to offset the balance control so much that higher volume levels are difficult to obtain.

I may be able to purchase a pair of Acoustat MK-121-B interfaces which I believe are just an upgraded version. Does anyone know if I could simply swap them out without performing any internal interface changes?

First time I hear of a CLS being driven by Acoustat interfaces, but obviously, seems to work.

For the others, the Acustat 2+2 is an Elctrostat and used these interfaces.

My guess is more that your panels are in need of updating. Swap feeds from the interfaces, if the lower volume follows the swap, then the panels are fine. If not, time for new panels, or at a minimum, shower time.
