A Treasonous Look At The Competition ~ Sympathy For The Devil...

In my Internet wanderings, I have been coming across more than a few offering of dare I say it, Non-Martin Logan speakers, which has proven interesting. I have noticed their are many serious speakers, under $30,000. on Audiogon, which are viable and have deticated followers as well as glowing reviews. What follows are some of the speakers under $30K (Audiogon) of the 'coulda been contenders' to Martin Logan speakers... ;) Lets start with:

Meridian's DSP8000, with five active amplifiers in each full range speaker tower...

It would drive my nuts to have 2 of these staring at me in my house. Do they follow as you walk through the room?

By the way, what is that eyeball doing on top of that aircraft's vertical stabilizer?

The Wonderfully Visual Newest model Acapella ~ LaCampanella...

:D The LaCamanella as a new set of speakers is priced at the upper edge towards the $30K mark, at $26K (and that is brand new)... ;) This purple colored horn looks cool, I like the new shape of the horn as well... :p
