What I can say I spent allot of time with the Summits and with all the current ML models. I have to say if I did not own the CLX for the the sweet spot in the range I think the 13s are brilliant, I think they are an improvement on the Summits but I am not quite sure if I would actually upgrade...

Yes in fact I owned the 28B Mk1 monos and then the 28B Mk2 monos, best bass I ever had and respected them but never to be honest grew to love them.

Personally I would not go for the Diablo, I owned it for some time , beautifully made and engineered but definately had a brightness to it long term I could not live with.

Hi I had the Quest and ML 336 and then ML 436, never worked, they never had the current. The only time I got my quest bass beautiful was with Bryston 28Bs, for what it is worth.

Hi guys toying with subs maybe again, I would prefer a up firing or down firing pair. Have anyone of you tried PC-4000 PC 4000? I have had 4 Depthi's , RELs and Wilson Torus, all as pairs. Any of you used SVS with MLs. Thanks

All I can say is I use Nordost Odin 1, and it lowers the noise floor, clearer and more defined dynamics.

I hear you , if I was going back to non electrostatic full range, personally it would be one of the oldies with a good amp. I absolutely loved the Quest but it too Bryston 28B monos to tame it.
