I also believe that the speaker pairs themselves are selected and matched. But other speaker pairs sound different depending on mounting time. I made this experience several times. Especially with Martin Logan Montis, Summit and Expression.

Unfortunately , Sanders Magtech are not available in Germany for testing. I listened to the Renaissance at my dealer's with Mcintosh MC601 and it sounded very good.

Will you get the one you listen to? My experience is to take the demonstration model so as not to be disappointed afterwards. At home, the speakers certainly sound different, but then I know it's my room and not the speaker itself.

Hi Peter, I run either a Mcintosh MC601 or 2 pieces MC275 in mono on my expression. I have to say it sounds very good (see system 466). The Expression need some time for break in (at least 100 hours).

Again an upgrade. I replaced the Montis and Balanced Force 210 with a Summit X in high gloss cherry. In my room the bass performance and the spatial resolution is now much better. Attached some pictures.
