I haven't had any issues since I started on the beta for TVOS 16 and have been on the official release since it came out and haven't had any issues. That's just me though.

Now on the 3rd public beta of tvOS 16 and have watched another show on Netflix with an Atmos soundtrack and no sound drops as of yet. Used the get them at least once an hour in 15.

Yes actually everything I have watched has had Atmos. I watched the whole season 2 of Another life, gray man, and a couple random episodes of season 4 of stranger things and no issues yet. I am connected through Onkyo nr7100 and Ethernet on the Apple TV.

Yeah I had problems with all of the TvOS versions, but so far no issues with beta 16. About a week of use and no atmos drops.

I am about 12 hours of Netflix Atmos content without issue. At the very least it seems improved, if not fixed, on my end.

That is a bummer! It hasn’t happened yet on my end after about 6 hours of Netflix, but I figure it’s only a matter of time before it comes back. Thanks for the update!

I don't believe you can revert to standard releases with the 4k model since it no longer has a USB port to restore the factory image. You can opt to no longer accept beta releases inside the apple tv UI though if you only want to recieve mainline releases after accepting a beta image. So you...

I just watched a 2 hour movie in Dolby Atmos on Netflix and had no issues yet on TVOS 16 beta. Fingers crossed!

Long time lurker but I have also had the Atmos issues (random audio drops) on my 2nd gen Apple tv 4k in Netflix. If this is true that TVOS 16 fixes this I will be so happy. Ii just downloaded now. I will have to test it in a couple hours. Thanks for the heads up!
