I've transported my speakers multiple times, I just wrap them up really good in plastic wrap and make sure they won't bounce around. I wouldn't overthink it too much, you just don't want to damage the diagraphs.

Stick an active X-over on the woofer and just bypass the existing passive crossover totally. You get full control over the level of bass you desire and it just sound much, much better. Unfortunately the passive bass crossovers on older Martin Logan speakers were terrible.

Lol I never got around to actually running it in a car, it would have been wild though. I'm using a Behringer EPX2800 pro amp, it delivers 1620W into 8 ohms and 2800W into 4 ohms bridged. I think the box isn't ideal, nor is the placement so it'll definitely still need some work to get right.
