u need decent i , depth will not be enough in such a big room . for my own experience ,jl price was quite high , u can try a combo with mk + svs . nomatter high -bass and low bass was very strong . but if u likes detail of bass ,then martin logan or thiel subwoofer will be your choice .

hi i did listen and compare jl and martin logan around 7 times , its a nice sub for music or 2.1 stereo , if u won't use it as ht ,then jl was fine.

i m using nht speaker now , saving money for martin logan's speaker , my pre was showcase with anthem mca3 power amp . i used to have svs pb12+/2 before ,but its kind of slow ,and one of my friend using ml depth, i m suprised the first time when i heard it .thats why ...:ROFL: hihi all of you
