Home Theater Build (System #701?) - Statement 40XWs

I love the Kaleidescape, I almost always purchase hbomax/disney+ movies on kscape even after watching them on release via streaming (Dune, Shang Chi, In The Heights, etc) because the quality is so much better - especially the audio. I would check the kscape owners forum (Kaleidescape Owners...

Home Theater Build (System #701?) - Statement 40XWs

There's a riser that's about 7" off the ground for the second row, turns out it's the perfect height for me to walk comfortably under the projector to get to the MLP, so there's that :). Hush! :) I know tho, I'm pretty happy for the moment but already thinking that's in the cards next year...

Home Theater Build (System #701?) - Statement 40XWs

Haha they were sold unfortunately :p It's a 14.5' wide screen, 1.3 gain, and the projector is now a GTZ380, getting about 100 ftL which is pretty crazy but amazing for hdr. I do think the front row might be a tad too close, but it's perfect for the MLP.

Home Theater Build (System #701?) - Statement 40XWs

Figure it'd be worth updating, there are still some minor cosmetic things to do but the theater has been operational for about a month. Here are some photos! Front Stage/wall-to-wall screen: There are going to be black acoustic panels across the bottom front (also re-adding the black...

They're acoustic panels to catch any sound waves bouncing/reverb coming back from the screen

Home Theater Build (System #701?) - Statement 40XWs

Yeah, also the Statement series also has the 7XW and the 5XW here. I've got a riser that is about 8" tall, which is short enough it doesn't need a step up, attached a photo of where the riser is in the room. My room dimensions are about 14.5'x20'x8', and I don't have a problem with the riser...

    Avoiding re-amplification

Ok started a new thread, just waiting on approval. @Robert D I have a pic of the IWS enclosure pre-drywall up there if you wanted to see what it looks like. When it's up, it's completely disconnected from the studs/drywall, even the grill attaches to the drywall and not the enclosure.

Home Theater Build (System #701?) - Statement 40XWs

Posted briefly in another thread but was asked to do a dedicated post here. In the middle of a large home theater renovation (3rd upgrade in a year - I should probably stop now). I'll start with the new set up: New Equipment List: LCRs: 3x Martin Logan Statement 40XWs Surrounds: 6x Martin...

    Avoiding re-amplification

Haven't seen any other installs anywhere, but ask me again in a week :). I'm doing 3 40xws LCRs, 6 Edge speakers (4 sides, 2 rears), and 6 Sistenes for Atmos, plus 2 JL audio in-wall 13" subs and 2 Dynamo 1600Xs. Edit to add more info: Upgrading from Renaissance 15a + Illusion center to the...
