i’m not using the tdai2170 amp but using a prima luna hp tube power amp with really good bass and everything else sounds good. just let u know tubes can be wonderful to.

email martin logan service and explain ur problem ur having with the grotto they might have a easy fix for u. i emailed them recently with a question about my summits and they responded with an answer the next day.

do u have any dimmer switches in the same room, they can cause buzzing in ur system. also do u have a antenna cable attached in ur system and do have any kind of energy saving bulbs ? if so take them out and try again. and also check ur ground connections on ur interconnect cables if it is...

i have a similar system but us summits i us a arc ls27 and use the theatre bypass for home theater using a anthem avr and listen using the ls27 for two channel im using a prima luna power amp for left and right speakers. i’ve been happy with the results.

what’s the best way to check to see if the bass drivers are working correctly in my summits? i had a a/c power surge and need to know! i’ve had more failures than i can count, it gets expensive after awhile. its a very poor design when u have a surge the amps should shut down! thanks

i get reflections on my summits when using my projector i put a piece grill cloth over each one to cover up reflections i bought it from parts express then take it off when listening to music. works great!

check ur stat connections up front under the grill these speakers stat panels have a tendency to drop down an pull the stat connections lose. u have to take the side wood slats off then the grill and u can see underneath if the connections have come lose or broken. good luck the same thing...
