Thoght you might be referring to this one: "Peerless by Tymphany NE315W-08 12" Subwoofer Speaker" from www.parts-express.com!

    Monolith I or II?

It is a vented enclosure. I'll have to measure it. What Peerless driver were you using?

    Monolith I or II?

How do you use these crossovers? I am single ended and every crossover I've looked at is balanced? I guess what I am looking for is a single ended crossover which I have not found. Any recommended woofers?

    Monolith I or II?

I could not do any changes, never could get the wood off the side. The woofers are original, need to be replaced or refoamed. They never had a reputation for much. What would be a relatively cheap crossover?

    Monolith I or II?

That's the serial number. I bought them around 88 I suppose. It's been a while. I shook my head once or twice since then. I always thought I had M-I but now think it was M-II's. Mine has the barrier strip connectors that are bi-ampable when you remove the red jumpers

logos center speaker needs big power amp ?

Hi, I have Aerius i fronts with Logos center. Also a Dayton 12" active sub. Should I run them all as "small" speakers in my AVR and cross them over? I've had them set as Large full range. I know this is an old thread... But is there such a thing as Old in Martin Logan land? p.s. I...

    Jim Power is RETIRING!

Pretty much what I'm doing here, except for the whining part of course. Sorry if I was standing in your Sunbeam. :D

    Jim Power is RETIRING!

I've never referred to the quality or history of their panels as being bad before. The original founders are gone. They are getting rid of a lot of the people who work there. They were acquired by an acquisition Company. I'm sure things will be great!

    Jim Power is RETIRING!

Grado was used as an example of a Hi End oriented company, that I was using as an example. Perhaps not the clearest example. Paradigm is not the owner here AFAIK. It's a philosophy thing. Grado was originally a SQ oriented HI End company, like when Joe ran it, perhaps I could have said Sound...

Believe me, I didn't miss that. That's part of the reason I'm not impressed...

    Jim Power is RETIRING!

I didn't say Jim built panels. I said the talent pool was fired. It would be a different deal if Grado or another Boutique company had bought ML. Not an investment company. I don't get a warm feeling from all this.

    Jim Power is RETIRING!

Because the Talent pool has been fired. There's such a thing as a learning curve. Who would you rather have build panels for you, the guys who have been doing it for 30 years or the guys reading how to do it off of a PDF?

    Jim Power is RETIRING!

Well, this is a revoltin' thread to read! I have an original pair of Monoliths that need the panels replaced. I may look at trying to rejuvenate the orig. panels as well. Should I even trust buying panels from them now? Jim was always a class act to deal with on the phone and was exactly...
