How old are my Summit when the serial number is SUQG? Since to M.L serial decoder is until M.L Theater only. And if using the two last letters, that means it is from July 2005? Asking here since I have a reciept stating it was purchased in December 2008.. Thank you for answer..

First, thanks for answering... Before I got to read any of your answer I did take out the power cord for a few second.. But still it didn`t work.. Did the same again later that day, this time I waited a while.. Then it worked again.. HALLELUJA! Thanks anyway for your answer!

Listening to some music with som deep bass.. then suddentlig I thought I saw my right side Summit shaked a bit.. A few minuts later I schecked it out, and I`ve noticed that the woofer in front didn`t move!:( Did the amp or woofer blow? I know difficult to say... But is there any protection...

Don`t take me wrong I do like the summits.. Maybe my expectation was a bit high before I did listen to them. But I got the impression that it wasn`t that much better sound (NB! except for better bass integration.) While almost all HIFI mags. who had tested them was almost blown away with it...

I would not say I`m negative about the summit.. Just saying that I was not impressed. After all there is a huge different in every way. And I got the impression that M.L really got succes with a better bass integration and more WAF friendly. But not a huge difference in the panel sound. And yes...

Been a while since I`ve posted here... As of now my system is of script and theater I, sunfire EQ 10" and Halcro SSP220 and MC50. But I am looking for some front speakers... As the title says.. Now some of you might answer " some like the new and some like the old" I am most interested in...

I run my CLS II with Halcro MC50, (200w in 8Ohm, 350 in 4Ohm) In my ears it`s a very good combination. But still reading others of theire CLS, I think they my CLS still perform a bit better. But just a bit, cause in the right mood, right music I am in a Nirvana state.. As a Pre I am using...

The serial number CEBF 002 Doesn`t tell me much what modell I do have.. The panels are from 2001. (using the serial decoder).... Is there a any difference with the panel of CLSIIz and CLSII A/B? or is it only the electronics that has been modificated...

Modification to CLSIIz (electronics) is this something easy to do self or sent it to M.l. I know CLSII came out in 3 different version A,B and Z. (or maybe more?) How can I tell which i have? (by age?)

Thanks for answer CAP, I am now a proud owner of CLSII with panel from January 2001. These would mean that it is a CLSIIz panel right? The electronics is from June 1990. Anyway, since the electronic is almost 20 years old..:bowdown: does this have the feature of turning of the panel when not in use?

What do you mean C.A.P? The combo with Halcro or the issue about CLS I with CLSIIz panel?

I have the opportunity to get a pair of these for reasonable price. But what worries me is that the panels only is a CLS IIz, not the electronics... Its a CLS I Is this an isue? I `ve heard that a combo like this is better than all pure CLSIIz. (panels and electronics) But also worried reading...

What would be your choice based ONLY on the sound, bringing you to the M.L nirvana:D The vantage and summit appeals to me only because of WAF. But afraid of these are not as good as the Odyssey or Prodigy. Would you say Odyssey and Vantage are almost equal. (Or maybe spire is more correct?)...
