You nailed it
boy that second half was amazing... give Alabama credit... they played well and stepped up when it mattered most.
but why oh why would you try a shuffle pass under 30 seconds to go on your own half of the field...
Went to Avatar 3D this week... I have to say, I had the same feeling the first time I saw Star Wars... Movies will never be the same... AWESOME visuals, Awesome sound, OK story... overall, Outstanding
I agree with hope that Blu-ray will provide more titles / artists available on high end MC recordings... today, I find myself buying CDs where I would gladly pay the premium for the title in either SACD or DVD-A.
I fear for the future, when millions and millions of gen-x have been taught that...
I will say I was blown away with the visit this past summer. The room/rig and especially the company was simply amazing.
But I'm glad to hear you are still tweaking, still turning the knobs and dials to the never-ending pursuit for Eye and Ear (Brain?) candy. :rocker:
It's been years since my last trip to the Georgia Mountains, but I'm planning on getting there this July. And since we have similar taste in music... all I have to bring is some good wine
Len, Relax... Telling people that they are not up for a serious discussion and then saying no offense, doesn't work.
We get it, your opinion is wide open and our minds are made up.. you obviously have a fascination about Bush, whereas Barney Frank and Congress had no hand in this mess. But...
Outstanding... :music:
You have inspired me to go listen to "Thick as a Brick" and then some "Songs from the Wood"
I just finished listening to Porcupine Tree's "Fear of a Blank Planet" the DVD Audio just arrive from over the pond. Amazon only had the CD version.
I don't see anything that will prevent this... This is about Big Government, not stimulating the economy... every pet project is approved and they don't even give time to debate it... we and our children's children will regret these decisions
For some reason... these look *very* cool  ... wonder how they sound
Real-Requisites: Omni-directional speakers... cost as much as one of James's Porsches...
My wife really enjoys the Kindle 2... she read for an hour or so outside today (bright sunny day) and enjoyed it... I've only used it for a couple of minutes... but it was impressive... very easy on the eyes... fairly quick page turning. My only gripe is lack of backlighting. I've heard it's...
Either one sounds like a great bargin. I have no experience with the Pliniuis so not sure which one to grab... but wanted to share TG3 is a GREAT music receiver/amp with some limitations around HDMI
Good luck
I have the Sunfire TG3 and just recently replaced it w/ the Integra 9.9 pre and Sunfire Amp. Currently using TG3 in another room.
There are 3 reasons I upgraded away from the TG3
1) TG3 does not carry audio over HDMI... only video... so you have to use 2 sets of cables if you are going to...
My Descent arrived yesterday... quick re-calibration using Audyssey correction and Porcupine Tree Deadwing sounded better than ever. New pictures to follow after I finish the wall treatments.
My Descent is on it's way, which I hope will compliment my Summits nicely. To ensure they all play nice together I'll be recalibrating with my Integra 9.9 using the Audyssey DynamicEQ.
But to optimize the soundstage, I'm also starting to map out room treatments... probably not as alaborate...
