Has anyone replaced the spikes on their Renaissance ESL 15A with Acoustics Gaia 1 isolation feet? Also, what is the thread size on the Renaissance?

Yes, very easy to remove. I have removed the rear ones also. They attached with like velcro.

The amps are XA160.5 providing 320W of class A amplification per channel.

In this setup, I get a jaw-dropping bass response without sacrificing the mids & highs. Most excellent imaging, 3D effect, and sound stage that goes from wall to wall. It's amazing what one can do with proper acoustic treatment. Dave, when are you stopping by for a listen? :)

The acoustic panels behind the speakers are to cut down on the mid & highs coming from the rear of the speakers since they are dipoles. I also have acoustic panels directory behind the listening position. The corners have bass traps. The rug also provides sound absorption to cut down on any...

Actually, they are in our insulated building while our custom home is being built. Going to be placed in a dedicated listening room. I had a pair of Summit X speakers previously. Thank's to Shawn Millin @ DaVinci Media!

Updated photos. Replaced DAC with the Aqua La Voce S3 Discrete R2R Laddar DAC and added the Shunyata Research Hydra Typhon to complete the Shunyata power conditioner system. You can not get any blacker noise floor then this. :)

When I use to own a pair of Odisseys I powered them with a Pass Labs x350.5 with jaw dropping performance!

Neolith with a active bass would be a wet dream for sure! I do love my Summit Xs!

The smearing issue can be easily corrected by some will placed obsobtion on the front wall. With my dedicated listening room I have done that years ago when I received my Summit Xs. Imagining is the best I have heard so far.

Why do you say that? I know people with 6 figure systems that consider my system with the Summit Xs to be a 2ch reference system.
