    New and curious!

Welcome to the group ! Dan and Vic have given you some good suggestions to which I concur. The pics you provided tells a story of a WAF but not one for good sound ! No matter how well you place your speakers, listening with your head that close to a wall behind you is NEVER a good idea. As for...

    Room Size ? Esl 15a

I'm not gonna say you're an idiot but no way will that room ever be optimized for those speakers. You can treat it till the cows come home and it will still be a compromise ! Good luck !

    Tube recommendation

I used to deal with Jim McShane back in the day but I think he has retired. I've also dealt with these folks over the years with no problems ........... https://tubedepot.com/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwlN6wBhCcARIsAKZvD5jPTqC3w4sAfEp6q27cEa9zT0IfapNZbQ_mZqg8JUesm3XyE8vJeYEaAoYGEALw_wcB

    Any Martin Logan merchandise ?

Fond memories from back in the day (18 years ago) when we had a nice gathering out in Lawrence and toured the Logan facility, all of us getting nice gifts including well made polo shirts. I still have and wear mine to this day !

    Jim Winey - RIP

Robert, for any planar, di-pole speaker, including ML stats, sufficient 'space' is paramount to optimal sound. For all my years of owning such speakers I NEVER heard a pair sound their best without at least 4-6' to 'breath' behind them.

    Jim Winey - RIP

Another of the 'Planar Pioneers' has passed, I was happy to have owned several pairs of his speakers. https://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/jim-winey-1934-2024/

ESL - endless need of panel replacements

next to widely varying humidity / temp an overly dusty environment is a no-no as well. IMO, if these two conditions can't be kept under control time to move on to some other speaker .........

    Obsessive hobbies....

I had a good laugh at the cyber truck video drag racing the 911. Apples to Oranges IMO. Yes EV's are quick, we all know that, but a Porsche 911 wasn't built for the 1/4 mile. Id love to see how that ugly assed 'Muskmobile' does against the 911 around the Nurburgring !

Robert, how did you make out with the 911 ? Also, tell me that's not a 'Prancing Horse' decal on the front fender of the Shelby kit car ?
