    Tilt for m/l speakers

Slight backward tilt also reduces floor reflections that can have huge impact on the sound. So I keep the rake as it is, it works best for me!. Toe-in has much more impact on the sound as have distances from back & side walls.

Returning MLO - once again 🙂.

Hi I have 5 cm x 60 cm x 120 cm elements behind each speaker and one similar element behind listening seat. Also footrest is actually a 40 cm x 40 cm x 60 cm basstrap as is my sofa too (all cavities filled acoustic material. So, I have some sort handling in place 🙂. Kr. Tatu

Returning MLO - once again 🙂.

Hi everyone 4th time is the charm 😉. After some time I am again ML owner. This time its Spire time 🙂. I seem to be returning always to Martin Logan speakers when ever I have a chance. I have been few times forced to return to normal speakers (moving to new places and no room big enough for...

ESLs in now 30 hours - still dynamics & treble a bit missing!

You are absolutely correct. I have no choice right now but to find means in my limited space. So, I have Dspeaker Antimode 2.0. room correction (brilliant box) to iron out peaks. But, I am actually proud of myself a bit, I have succeeded to find the critical frequencies being amplified by my...

ESLs in now 30 hours - still dynamics & treble a bit missing!

Thank you for your comment! Most interesting. My ESL's keep improving, more micro details & air all the time, those minute things that add the magic to you music! I love this disease ;-). All the best to you.

Hi I did not buy after all buy since I bought new Martin Logans :-). So, I do not dare say anything about the quality. I would think they have testimonials somewhere? Tatu

    Reromanu panels

HI I asked a quote from them for my previous SL3's two years back & then they gave me a price 900 € / pair. There was small extra cost for sending the panels there & back. Tatu

ESLs in now 30 hours - still dynamics & treble a bit missing!

Hello all The interconnects are not that new actually, they are of 6 months of age and have some hundreds of hour service behind. Now, after some 25 extra hours later, I am happy to notice that the airy top frequencies are appearing and those micro details are becoming systematically more...

ESLs in now 30 hours - still dynamics & treble a bit missing!

HI The amplification is the same as previously. The speaker & interconnects are new, but should be rather good: RCA Atlas Element & speaker cables QED XT's. I am afraid I need to just keep on playing the music yet another 30 - 40 hours. After all, thses are my first NEW ML's, earlier were used...

ESLs in now 30 hours - still dynamics & treble a bit missing!

HI all! I have been breaking in my new pair of ESLs now 35 hours and I am still waiting for the magical micro details to appear. I am a seasoned ML man in a manner: I have had SL3's, Odysseys and now ESLs (the basic model). Sound is neutral and I really like it. But liking is just not...
