Why does Martin Logan say to use the best power cord and analog cables you can afford in the manual? They have no skin in the game.

I would say a good line conditioner / surge protector, Maybe a shunyata defender on each outlet? Ask ML though, they will tell you for sure.

OK, update.. I ended up finding a pair of Vantage in excellent shape a couple of hours from me, so snagged those for about the same price as the panel. They sound great! Not as much bass impact, but the integration with the panel is much better as well as the imaging. anyone looking for a cheap...

Just ordered new panels for my ascents that I purchased new in 2005. They were getting pretty dull, and bass heavy, so I am pretty sure they need them at this point. I vacuumed and that helps get some sound back to some portions of the panel that are dropping out, but still not as crisp as they...

Hi Roberto, A good strong vacuuming seems to have fixed things up. I know i am kind of on borrowed time with them at this point. If I recall new panels are about 1800, still cheaper than a new set so I might go that route in the near future.

It's what I love about Logan's in general, they can play rock and are very non fatiguing. I'm sure zeppelin sounds far better on your system then one limited to 2k components. I know my ascents top end opened up a lot when I added the Levinson 332 amp. Prior to that I was using a proceed HPA2...
