Many of the classical releases are not the "warhorses", are indeed well recorded and are reasonably priced. One of my listening friends says they are the best unknown bargain in the music business.

Justin, Magnepan makes a really nice desktop speaker. Perhaps you might need to cross the line and call it a "research" expedition. :D

Herbie's Grunge busters work well. He has some that will allow you to slide the speakers and no the speakers won't move when playing too loud music. :-)
