Sounds like the impedance of the speakers drops very low and the amps cannot deliver the demanding current. From the Bryston web site (http://bryston.com/BrystonSite05/BrystonDocs.html) 7B SST specs/brochure, "the 7B SST is also available in a special version for very low impedance loads...

Sorry for the alarming title :-) My ML dealer has received the new (increased) price list from the French distributor and to our surprise the Summit is not on that list anymore. Would it be an error, the Summit not distributed in France anymore, or the Summit is to be discontinued? Any news...

I don't recommend to split the 8TC to 4x4 conductors. If you check carefully the conductors you should notice their diameter are not the same (ok it's no easy to see that) so you cannot guarantee you'll get the same cable impedance at the binding post and same current. This is the way Kimber...

Unfortunately, prices are not sinking in Europe (13000 euros for a Summit in France aka 20000 USD).

Jadis has changed their tube providers and now have better tubes that are very reliable and tested and apaired before shipping. If you buy used, this is might be different as the tubes may have been changed by previous owner. The strong point of jadis is their excellent transformers. And Jadis...
