    The ohms Trick

Some years ago I have measured the impedance of my old Summit X and the impedance was about 0,7 Ohms at 22,3kHz. I am afraid that the "new" speaker I got, the Renaissance, will even get lower than that. But I have a tube amp and it has only an 4 Ohm output and I know that it works well in this...

To chrome plate the panel frame?

Hello Jonathan, thank you for your ideas. Well I will first ask Audio Components which is the distributor of ML loudspeaker if I would loose the warranty. But I am sure I know the answer. It is not so important to chrome plate the frame, but to my chrome plated tube amps it would look nice...

To chrome plate the panel frame?

Hello Bernard, that of course is my biggest concern, to loos the warranty. Especially when you have 10 years warranty like I have on the Summit X. From the technical side I guess it would not be a big problem to chrome plate the frame.

To chrome plate the panel frame?

Hi, is there anybody who dismantled the electrostatic panel on the Summit (X)? Would be interesting to chrome plate just the panel frame. It is terrible expensive when you order the speakers with chrome plated frames at Martin Logan. What you think? Gunter

    System #380 (Summit X)

Hi, the speakers are not straight ahead. Should they? My listening room is not too long and so there are toe-in. Not too much, but my feeling is that it is right for the size of this room. The distance between the spekers to each other are about the same distance to the listening position. I...

    Hello from Austria

Hi, just posted a photo with my system, no mountains. :-) Lua is a little HIFI manufacture close to my home. I tried some transistor amps (but not the McIntosh) and I was a little disappointed. So ended up with powerful tube amps. If the P1000 power generator would be necessary? I don't...
