    System #412 (Summit X, Stage, FX2)

Yes, I have. There isn't a whole lot of difference surprisingly as far as tonality is concerned. There is a little bit of upper midrange glare with it in place. The holographic imaging is compromised somewhat as well. It is a shared room however and I am no longer a bachelor so I'll have to...

    System #412 (Summit X, Stage, FX2)

Hi Bernard, The room is roughly 28x37x15. It's a shared living/dining with kitchen in separate room. GH

    System #412 (Summit X, Stage, FX2)

Updated equipment to reflect new pair of BF 212s. The Paradigm SUB 25 now functions for Movies only as rear center sub. Setting the Summit X to -10db @ 25hz really opens up the midbass dynamic range at live levels. So far, the BF 212s seem to show great promise... They are MASSIVE and beautiful! GH

    System #412 (Summit X, Stage, FX2)

For the Summits it isn't quite enough overall. It's a bit soft in the bass and not as high in resolution overall compared to say the Halcro MC50. The KAV is almost 15 years old. Two of the channels on the Krell are bridged to provide 400w to the Stage. It makes a HUGE difference. It sounds more...

    System #412 (Summit X, Stage, FX2)

Hi Tom, The FX2s are still in the pouches/bags. I will let you know. They are very well made and look really good in person

    System #412 (Summit X, Stage, FX2)

That is my father's system (which he would say is really mine.) He still has it and it still sounds like it did new nearly 14 years ago but I think he's not as into the hobby as he used to be. Things change when you kind of fall out of love with music I suppose. The summits are very very...

Just bought the Statement E2, need advice

I use the Krell version. I've never tried the Transparent model. On another note I think that because the E2s are indeed so hungry you may want to stick to solid state because I found with the VTL at high levels some grain and hardness would set in (as compared to the Krell 650 and Jeff Rowland...

Just bought the Statement E2, need advice

I would never even consider Mark Levinson with their amps now. The No 33s are dry. That's a fact. I have had the opportunity to use the VTL wotans in triode mode with my E2 dipolar towers. They are fantastic to say the least. I would rate them as better than my fpb 650mc in tonality but they...

System #46 (ML Statement E2, Theater i, Monolith IIIx)

We're still building the rack into the wall right now so it looks built in. Hopefully I will have the rest of the Krell gear next month. I am also painting the mahogany trim on the statements a semi gloss black. Pics of that sometime next week. As I write this the system is leaps and bounds...

System #46 (ML Statement E2, Theater i, Monolith IIIx)

Hi, If you could suggest an easy way to host them I would upload high res pics when the system is finished. The pile of stuff outside is the packing materials I used to store and move the system. Ridiculous. With respect to the musicians I found that they blurred the imaging ever so slightly...
