I am wondering what the l/r line level outputs are for on a sub. Particularly a sunfire super junior. Can I hook up a second sub from there? I think this is also a related question. What does master and slave refer to in subwoofer configuration? I searched the former on the forum but the latter just came to me as I was typing.

Rocker, per the SJ manual, these are line level high-pass outputs, used to connect the sub to a mains amp after a fixed high-pass. When used, the SJ imposes a crossover freq of 70Hz with a 6dB/octave slope. If you're using a preamp/AVR with internal crossover or plan to run the mains full range, you don't need this output, and it's just another noise source in the signal path.

Not intended for an additional, slave subwoofer.
