Is there a new better option than my original woofers in my Requests?
I have tried DSP, driven woofers separatly from my panels but I think my analog filters sound better than the DSP. I use a MiniDSP 2x4 HD. It is okey for the woofers but the panels sound so so boring when the dsp is running the show. Yes, I connected my woofers directly my amp.

So, I was thinking that maybe there are some awesome replacement woofers out there.

Request is ported, right? If you have DSP you could block the port and try a Linkwitz transform, a low end boost that requires a sealed box - and a FAT amp!

Here's info on the stock Eminence 12 inch, copied from this post:

Request is sealed.
Not sure if I get the Linkwitz thing? For that I should have a woofer with higher power rating I guess?

Already sealed is great! From online images the Request woofer appears sturdy enough, so try a bit of bass boost to taste?

Up here where I live we have a few places where they rebuild the woofers, never had one done yet but the places are legit, Audioconnexion- Chris Johnson who used to own Anthem, you could give him a phone call maybe he could help you I'm fortunate they are only a half an hour from where I live. You could always e-mail him see what he says, pretty knowledgeable could send him the specs and see what he suggests don't think you can even get the same woofers for them.
