New almost owner from middle Tennessee here. Is raining today, so picking up a new to me pair of SL3 tomorrow afternoon. Was actually looking for a pair of magnepan and ran across these, which should be in really nice shape, from original owner. I just figured these would have a higher WAF.
Will be running them right now with a Pioneer Spec 2 and a Conrad Johnson PV2AR that has been modified (new film caps thruout and bypassed the balance knob)
Was actually in the market for a tube amp, but not sure how one would drive these, tho I could bi-amp .
I am looking forward to seeing if these SL3 wow me like a pair of Magnepans once did.
